SSP Business Games 2011

Although the DFE/DCMS/DH have now agreed on the need to fund a core SSP staff to continue to support schools in relation to PE, Sport and Physical Activity.I am acutely aware that the withdrawal of PLT funding from Easter will make attending a range of sporting opportunities and Teacher PE related CPD difficult for many.As a result we have a number of ideas to raise funding to assist Primary and Special schools with transport to fixtures, equipment and other related costs. The first event planned is the Cheshire Oaks SSP Business Games with events open to both individual adults and business teams. This will be run by the SSP on the Friday 24th of June 2011 at the Ellesmere Port Track/Sports Complex please see attached flyer/application form for full details (located in resources). ALL funds raised will go directly to Primary/Special Schools.Any assistance in relation to advertising the event perhaps through parents or PTAs or business contacts would be appreciated. Thanks Chris
